Tis the season
March 13, 2008
Finally finished my raking today. Yeah, I’m a little behind schedule. My theory for raking is to wait for the last leaf to fall and then do it all at once. Well, the neighbor’s oak trees like to hang onto their leaves until about mid December. Usually, the weather that time of year is fine for late fall cleanup. Not this year. The snow came fast and furious (and early).
Today is one of the first nice days we’ve had this year so I thought I should take care of it. Here is the result (all the branches are casualties of the many ice storms we’ve had):
And then to get rid of it all.
Burn, baby, burn!

I have no eyebrows left but it was worth it.

Kitteh #3 is a handsome cat. Burning stuff is fun (even if you have to rake leaves to do it).

Kitteh says thx but still is pissed at me for physically restraining her at the modeling shoot.

She may be pissed, but she’s totally using that energy and she knows her angles so she should be America’s Next Top Cat Model.
They still let you burn leaves in Illinois? Lucky.
